A short time ago in a barn not too far away….

Our first wedding of the 2019 season was one straight out of another galaxy. Haleigh and Jake made sure everyone who attended the wedding knew exactly how special the date was. But not just because this lovely couple was getting married, but also because it was “Star Wars” day. That’s right, Haleigh and Jake were married on May 4th, 2019 at the gorgeous St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Clarklake Michigan before hosting an incredible reception at High Point Farm in Addison. Getting married on the special day wasn’t the only tribute to the movies as Jake and his groomsmen all wore socks and cufflinks featuring characters from the movies! Even their boutonnieres had Lego version of the characters on them. To top it all off, the bridal party were all given lightsabers to battle with during the formals. Aside from all that fun, these two were an absolute joy to photograph. We love when couples aren’t afraid to laugh and be goofy on their special day and these two were more than willing to do that.
